Who hath a tongue, yet does not let it speak
A soul, and cripples its aspiring wings,—
A heart for love, yet ??? its ??? ???

Fame’s willing ear, contemptible and ???

Harsh on the Freeman’s ear, ??? ??? ????
Down to the dust they tread, his shamefaced[?] ???
Let him creep on, the slave who dares not ???
Such vassalage—and kiss the very dust
Before the car of gilded ?? and lust,
Child of the soul, thereto shall he return;
Heaven cannot bless what scarce of heaven in seen,
Or Hades spare one breath to blast a thing so mean.
