Burleigh, Sr. Encased in an orange leather wood-framed case embossed with a sun and scroll design on the top half. Octagonal brass mat with a sandy finish. Purple velvet cushion. Double hook closure.
Three-part gravestone. Large upper part of stone has Charles C. Burleigh on the left (with additional description of "A Champion of Freedom"), and Gertrude K. Burleigh on the right side. Below them, across the stone, is the inscription for Teresa, Their Daughter. The stone has extensive damage and is difficult to read.
