Rain Sprites, The
See the pretty rain drops
Twinkle in the air;
Trickle down the window pane
Glitter in the grassy lane;
Sparkling everywhere!
They are tears of Rain-Sprites
Laughing till they cry!
Merry little fairy folks
Full of kindly pranks and jokes
As they rustle by
Now they splash the wee birds
In their maple bower,
Now they drench the flying curls
Of the berry hunting girls
Running from the shower!
