Dancing Dolls, The
Dance little Lady, and leap little Man!
We have made your parlor as fine as we can,
That while you are merry you still may shine
In true reflections many and fine,
And learn, perhaps, that you live and move
By the ties that bind you to all above!
We too are puppets, and dance and rest
Labor and weep, as the Heavens think best.
Enough for us in our blind desires
To know that the good God works the wires!”
